Life is too full of things waiting to be seen.
I would dislike spending time with people who are always tremendously
serious.
God wants us to be happy and take pleasure in life.
He doesn’t want us to be sad. This is something I have always believed. I
see no reason to doubt it. God made the world and he created us to live in
it for a while. We owe Him infinite thanks and obligation and duties.
Surely among these is the appreciation of the delights of life; the
beauties of nature’ the places and peoples of this earth; the pleasures of
good company; the grace of laughter, the scent of a flower; the sounds of
music, the rhythm of dancing; the infinite satisfaction of true love; all
these joys that are there to charm us as human beings were created by
God’s will and endowed by HIS wisdom, with capacities to enjoy life.
Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn’t people feel
free to delight in whatever sunshine remains to them? If more people were
more thankful for what they have, instead of mourning for what they have
not, much good would come to the world. Pessimism feeds itself; so does
optimism.
I have pondered and thought a lot about friends – my
link to humanity. They are classified into friends whom I cherish and want
to see often; friends I love dearly and whose welcome never wear out;
friends I don’t see often because of distance and complications – but
still cherish; and friends who are always friends no matter what.

"TRUE LOVE"
Dedicated to my husband Mahnee
with all my love, Sheila
(Read by Weena Cabase during Mahnee Cabase's Eulogy
and read by Amapola Cabase during Sheila's Eulogy)
I do believe that God above
created you for me to love...
He chose you from among the rest,
because he knew I'd love you best.
I have a heart and it is true,
but now it's gone from me to you...
So care for it as I have done,
For you have two and I have none.
When I go to heaven and you're not there,
I'll wait for you at the golden stair...
But if you are not there on judgment day,
then I'll know you went the other way.
So I'll return my angel wings,
my golden lamp and everything...
To prove to you my love is true,
I'll go to hell to be with you.

MY PRAYER TO
THE LORD
Lord!
We're thankful for life
and the air we breathe;
for the sun and rain...
for the roof over our heads...
for plentiful food at our table...
for wonderful friends...
for our
beautiful family...
You've truly
blessed us Lord...

more to come as we continue our research...
